Principal’s Message

Welcome to Paramount Schools of Excellence-Lafayette!

At Paramount Lafayette, we exist to empower all students to persevere and achieve academic success in a culture of excitement, inclusion, and community collaboration. Our innovative academic approach is proven and consistently receives state and national recognition for the top-ranked performance of our students. We are proud to offer exemplary programming that closes the achievement gap for all students, irrespective of their demographics and learning differences. We strive to remove barriers that hinder students’ academic success so they may each achieve their full potential.

Experienced and caring administrators, teachers, and staff at PSOE Lafayette work collaboratively with students and families to help them access wrap-around services on-site and within the community. This includes school counseling and nurse support, the Family Allies Community Team (FACT) support and behavioral health support from Wabash Valley Alliance. Additionally, Right Steps Childhood Development Center has classrooms inside our location to provide early learning opportunities for Nursery-Pre-K students.

Family and community engagement is a pillar of the Paramount framework. The PSOE Farm model offers countless opportunities through urban gardening, beekeeping, and micro-farming. Our school broadens the awareness and real-world experiences of students, families, and neighborhood residents. To engage students and families beyond the school day, we offer clubs such as gardening, robotics, and Spanish and extracurriculars such as volleyball, basketball, and track. We utilize the Northend Community Center for our practices and home competitions.

We welcome guests to tour our school on Fridays at 10:00 A.M. Join us to learn more about Paramount Schools of Excellence in Lafayette!
