Principal’s Message

At Paramount Schools of Excellence, we treat every child and every family with health support, positive communication, and focused instruction.

It is with great pride that we welcome you to Paramount Community Heights, the second campus of Paramount Schools of Excellence.  We are excited to serve students in grades K-4 beginning in the Fall of 2018.

For the past 5 years, I have worked in the PSOE system as the Assistant Principal at the Paramount Brookside campus.  As a 2002 graduate of Central Michigan University, I began my career as a High School Teacher and football coach in Fort Wayne, Indiana at Elmhurst High School, and Farwell High School in Michigan. In 2010, I received my Master’s degree in Education Leadership and school administrator license from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Paramount Community Heights will embody the community school model, by blending a consistent and dedicated focus on the community with a desire to protect and grow the academic environment. We are proud of all of the academic and extracurricular opportunities available to students.  PSOE Community Heights will strive to become an anchor in the community through its initiatives in health, behavior, academic rigor, and sustainability. In doing this, we make use of exciting components like community fairs, neighborhood cleanups, robotics, athletics, recycling, and farming.

The success of our students is built on the partnerships we have with our families and the Community Heights neighborhood. I am proud to be a part of the tradition of success that has been built over the last 9 years at PSOE.  We are grateful to have the opportunity to work with you all and we look forward to a great school year.
